| ANCO organized three talks for oncologists, oncology nurses, and oncology practice managers entitled Medicare Reimbursement for Oncology Reimbursement 2008 Medicare's Part B to MAC Transition Roberta Buell, M.B.A., presented the latest information impacting Medicare's reimbursement for oncology in 2008, including a complete update of changes for 2008--coding, PQRI, ESAs, and strategies for the future. Hedrick summarized CMS's contracting reform, identify types of local contractors and the services they manage, and review implementation timelines and key issues for oncology practices. Roberta Buell, M.B.A., is an accomplished health care regulatory and reimbursement expert. Gordon Hedrick, M.H.S.A., delivers comprehensive reimbursement field support for a wide variety of complex oncology therapies.
